Hundreds of archive boxes and documents, thousands of maps, magazines and photographs and many unique regional monuments have been taken into the care of the Imperial Spas. At the request of the family of the late Dr. Burachovich, his life's historical work found a new home here. Last week, Mrs. Alena Burachović signed the donation contract and the Imperial Spas are now beginning to work on the inventory and subsequent access to the extensive estate.
"This is an extensive and extraordinary collection within the region, which concerns practically the entire Karlovy Vary region. We can find here not only unique written sources, but above all thousands of photographs that are often completely unknown to the inhabitants of our region. The aim is to make the collection as accessible to the public as possible and to digitise as much of it as possible," says Miloš Bělohlávek, Head of Visitor Services at Císařské Lázně.

In the near future, the Imperial Spas plan to start presenting the most interesting parts of the collection on social media and an exhibition for the public is not excluded.
