Visitor Regulations of the Imperial Spas
Introductory provisions
The Visitors' Regulations of the Imperial Spas (hereinafter referred to as the Spa) apply to all accessible indoor areas.
The Spa building is protected as a national cultural monument of the Czech Republic. During their stay in the building, visitors are obliged to respect the cultural and historical significance of the Spa and must not violate the dignity of the place by any of their actions.

A visitor is a person who has entered the Spa facility
- within the freely accessible areas, for which it is not necessary to purchase a ticket
- within the accessible areas of the Spa on the basis of a purchased ticket
- on the basis of authorised free access to the building
- in the context of events held and organised by other entities
Opening hours are the time during which the premises are open.
A ticket is a document that allows a visitor to enter the publicly accessible areas of the Spa.
A minor is defined according to 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code.

The person required to exercise supervision and oversight is defined according to the relevant legislation.
A tutored educational programme for schools is a programme designed for educational institutions under the supervision of a tutor.
Oversized luggage for the purpose of the Spa Visitor Regulations is defined as a suitcase, cross-body bag, backpack and any packaging designed to carry items with dimensions greater than 40×30×20 cm.
Admission and opening hours
- Opening hours are posted in the entrance area of the Spa.
- Entrance to the Spa is only allowed with a valid ticket. After paying the entrance fee, the visitor will receive a ticket. In the case of guided tours, the time of the start of the tour is clearly marked on the ticket.
- The price list, types of discounts and other services for different groups of visitors are available at the ticket office. Samples of passes and discount cards are available on request from the ticket office staff or in the ticket office area. Prices are in Czech crowns.
- The Spa ticket is valid for single entry only. The visitor shall present the ticket for inspection upon request of the staff. The Spa provides free admission to selected groups of visitors and during pre-announced events.
- Ticket sales end 30 minutes before the end of opening hours. Additional sales of goods are available until the end of the opening hours.
- After leaving the building, the ticket becomes invalid.
- Purchased tickets cannot be returned. The visitor can only claim a refund in the event of an emergency.
- The spa reserves the right to change opening hours or admission fees.
- The spa reserves the right to close all or part of the building for organizational and technical reasons.
- Wheelchair access is available through the main entrance.
Inspection method
- Visitors can explore the publicly accessible areas of the Spa independently or with a guide.
- The start time of individual tours and up-to-date information about the tours is available at the ticket office and on the website.
- The "Imperial Sparoom" tour is accessible only with a guide, the maximum number of people in the tour is 10.
- The intervals between tours are determined by the Head of Visitor Services. The visitor capacity of the tour circuits and the building itself is limited by the operating conditions of the building and the safety of visitors.
- Groups and individuals can book a tour. The exact date and time of the start of the tour must be agreed in advance in writing, by phone or email. If the booked group or individual does not check in at the Spa ticket office at least 15 minutes before the agreed tour time, the agreed tour booking will be cancelled.
- Minors under the age of 15 may enter publicly accessible areas of the building only when accompanied by a legal guardian or a person obliged to supervise them.
- The persons responsible for supervision and supervision are responsible for ensuring that the participants of the expedition behave in a disciplined and considerate manner in the Spa and that no accidents caused by members of the group or damage to the facilities and exhibits occur. In this sense, they are obliged to instruct the group or individual before the start of the tour and must accompany their charges at all times.
- Restrictions on the operation of the Spa are possible when the capacity of the building is reached. For this reason, visitor access may then be regulated. In the event of full capacity, waiting must be expected.
Cultural monument protection and safety
- Visitors are obliged to obey the instructions of the Spa staff issued in the interest of their safety or in the interest of protecting the building, its facilities and exhibits. Otherwise, the visitor must immediately leave the premises without any right to a refund of the admission fee and at the same time he/she exposes himself/herself to possible penalties under generally binding regulations.
- Persons reasonably suspected of being intoxicated, persons under the influence of narcotics, persons in heavily soiled clothing or persons whose anti-social behaviour could endanger other visitors or exhibits will not be admitted to the Spa or will be asked to leave the premises.
- Visitors are not allowed:
- in any way damage the Spa building itself, the facilities, objects located therein
- it is expressly forbidden to touch, write, paint, paint on or damage the walls and walls in any way
- Enter the exhibition with oversized luggage and items that could be dangerous to the exhibits - including selfie sticks, animals (except service and assistance animals), open drinks and food. Snacks may only be consumed outside of the Spa exhibit areas. Visitors are required to store excess luggage in the facility's locker room or in an area designated by Spa staff
- enter and move around the building on roller skates, skateboards, scooters, etc. Exceptions are compensatory aids and strollers in case the building is adapted for this purpose or is not otherwise specified
- touching exhibited collection items, plinths, display cases, labels, electrical cabinets, signalling equipment and fire extinguishers, with the exception of exhibits and equipment intended for this purpose
- smoking (including electronic cigarettes) and handling open flames
- enter outside the publicly accessible areas of the building
- bring into the Spa building any firearms, cutting and stabbing weapons, explosives of any kind, dangerous substances or objects that are capable of causing damage to property and human health.
- bring in alcoholic beverages, narcotics, poisonous substances, chemicals or tamper with them in any way.
- pollute the exhibition areas and other publicly accessible areas, as well as the areas in the immediate vicinity of the Spa buildings.
- otherwise damage the Spa facilities, its equipment, including the greenery inside and outside in the immediate vicinity.
- disturb other visitors by loud speeches, use of radios and players. Mobile phones are an exception, but their use must be in accordance with good manners so as not to disturb other visitors.
- use a camera or video camera on the Spa premises for commercial purposes. Photographs and recordings for this purpose may only be taken with the prior permission of the Spa management. The Spa charges a fee for granting permission and for any reproduction rights. The visitor's consent to the taking of photographs of his/her person and the subsequent use of the photographs for promotional purposes is granted for an indefinite period of time. Taking video and non-flash photography for personal use is permitted.
Cultural events in the Spa building
- Visitors to cultural events are obliged to respect the instructions of the auditorium staff, the security service and other authorised persons and are obliged to follow all written instructions published in the public areas.
- Appropriate formal or formal attire is strongly recommended for cultural events, concerts and performances. In consideration of other theatre patrons, if the audience member's clothing is significantly soiled or otherwise inappropriate, they may be moved by the auditorium staff to a different seat in the auditorium than the one for which they purchased their ticket. A visitor whose behaviour endangers the safety of other spectators, disturbs the performance in progress or annoys other visitors may be ejected, as may a visitor who fails to comply with the instructions of the auditorium staff.
- A visitor who arrives late, i.e. after the cultural event has started, cannot be seated in his/her seat, but if conditions permit, a reserved seat may be offered. Visitors must turn off or silence their mobile phones before the start of the performance and any use of mobile phones is prohibited during cultural events. Photography and audio or video recording is also prohibited.
- Visitors are required to remove outer clothing, hats, umbrellas, shopping bags, etc. in the cloakroom. This service is free of charge. The spa is not liable for damage to items left in the cloakroom that are not customarily left in the cloakroom (e.g. valuables, documents, keys, mobile phones or other electronic devices). It is forbidden to place weapons, dangerous objects, smelly things or substances that could damage other clothing and belongings in the cloakroom.
- It is forbidden to bring bulky luggage into the halls for security reasons. Due to the limited space in the changing rooms, visitors are advised not to bring any bulky luggage into the Spa. Baby strollers can only be stored in designated areas and only until capacity is reached.
- Organizers of cultural and social events in the Spa building and their guests are obliged to follow the visitor and operating rules of the building and to follow the instructions of the Spa staff.
Responsibility
- The spa is not responsible for the safety of visitors who do not respect the visitor regulations.
- The Spa is not liable for any loss of money and personal belongings, except for items left in the cloakroom or in a place designated by the Spa.
- Liability for wilful damage, damages or injuries caused by non-compliance with the Visitor Regulations is governed by applicable law.
- If the equipment is damaged, the person who caused the damage will pay for the repair.
- In the case of group trips of minors under 15 years of age, the leader (e.g. teacher or tutor) is responsible.
- In the summer suburban camps, a professional instructor is responsible for the children.
- During social and cultural events, the organizer of the event assumes full responsibility for damages caused by visitors and guests of these events.
Protection and safety of visitors
- For the protection of visitors to the Spa, the Spa building itself and the exhibits, the outdoor and publicly accessible areas are monitored by a camera system. Video recordings without sound with the date and time of the recording are not kept longer than 15 days in accordance with GDPR.
- In case of injury or disability during the tour, visitors can contact the exhibition supervisor. The visitor will then be given the necessary medical care or medical assistance will be summoned.
- It is forbidden to leave luggage and other objects unattended in publicly accessible areas outside the designated areas.
- Visitors are obliged to obey the safety and fire signs posted on the Spa premises.
- Participants are obliged to comply with all safety regulations, especially those relating to occupational safety and fire protection.
Final provisions
- Violations of these Visitor Regulations are sanctioned in accordance with the relevant legislation.
- In the event of an emergency (fire, flood, evacuation, technological malfunction threatening the life and health of persons, etc.), all natural persons and visitors are obliged to obey and follow the instructions of the operator's qualified persons and supervisors in accordance with these Visitor Regulations and the fire alarm guidelines.
- Exceptions to the Visitor Regulations may be granted by the Director, Deputy Director and Head of Visitor Operations of the Spa in justified cases.
- These Visitor Regulations come into force on 1 June 2023.
