The Imperial Baths have won a number of prestigious awards for their unique reconstruction.
🏆 Construction of the year 2024
The Imperial Baths and the Concert Hall in Karlovy Vary were awarded the title of Building of the Year at the 32nd annual Building of the Year 2024 competition.
The award was given for the exceptional and original construction of the concert hall. The jury appreciated the inventive spatial bravura brought to the carefully restored historic building by the architectural reinvention of the "lilac red" steel structure of the variable auditorium with a concert stage. The contemporary architectural work thus enables exceptional arrangements of musical performances of all conceivable genres and sizes, from grand symphonic to chamber music concerts, to take place in the traditionally cultural environment of Karlovy Vary.

🏆 National Architecture Award 2024
One of the main awards in the Grand Prix of Architects competition - the National Architecture Award 2024 was awarded to the multifunctional hall in the Imperial Baths. The project was created by Petr Hájek, Martin Stoss, Nikoleta Slováková - Petr Hájek ARCHITEKTI studio.
Concert and multifunctional hall in Císařské lázně
The community of architects selected fifty projects from 207 entries to compete for the jury's favour. The winners received a large blue cube designed by Bohumil Eliáš. Each of these cubes is an original, created by his son, Bohumil Eliáš Jr. The Lifetime Achievement Award, symbolized by the large red cube, was awarded this year to Ing. arch. Vítězslava Rothbauerová. The main award went to the project of the Štvanice footbridge in Prague, which was designed by Petr Tej, Marek Blank, Jan Mourek, Aleš Hvízdala and Jan Hendrych.

Special Jury Prize for the Imperial Baths in Karlovy Vary for a sensitive and innovative reconstruction of a listed neo-Renaissance building, with respect for the historical space.
