The theatre show LiStOVáNí brings to Císařské lázně the story from the book "The Best for All" by the writer Petra Soukupová.
How can we know what is best for others if we cannot be happy ourselves? Ten-year-old Viktor, a little troublemaker, lives in Prague with his mother Hana, a theatre actress. She doesn't know how to raise her son or how to manage her own life. When he gets an offer to do a TV series, he sees it as a chance to solve his problems. Viktor finds himself in the countryside with his grandmother, as Hana believes that the change of scenery will be good for him, while also telling herself that her mother will appreciate not being alone.
Come to a staged reading and be drawn into a story where everyone wants only the best - and yet they hurt each other.
Writer Petra Soukupová masterfully depicts the tense family relationships and the feelings of a child hero who is helplessly facing the adult world. The book was published in 2017 by Host,
