October 12: The subscription concert of the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra will offer a varied selection of works under the direction of conductor Ondřej Vrabec. The piano will be played by the excellent Martin Kasík.
The evening will open with the overture to Janáček's opera Jealousy. This will be followed by Dmitri Shostakovich's Piano Concerto No. 2, featuring Martin Kasík.

The concert continues with two compositions by Josef Suk - Meditation on the St.Wenceslas Chorale and Fairy Tale.
